story

Family Owned Since 1982

Opened in Woodhaven, Queens in 1946 by the Langon family.  In 1982, the business was bought by our parents, Steven & Cecilia Hui.  They dedicated their lives to learning the wine and spirits business and continued to run the shop until we stepped in.

New Beginning

Now, we are continuing on our family’s legacy, providing top quality wines and spirits, as well as great customer service to our friends and neighbors.  In 2014, we  renovated the space to create a more friendly environment for our community to enjoy.

Our Mission

Dexter Wines brings quality wines, spirits and education to the community of Woodhaven, Queens through our tastings, communication and friendly service.
